Mr. Nestor Peccia serves dual roles within the CCSDS, both as Deputy Chair of the CCSDS Engineering Steering Group (CESG) and the Director of Mission Operations and Information Management Services Area (MOIMS). 

Throughout the last 18 years, Mr. Peccia has led the development of Mission Control Systems and Ground Segment Infrastructure software.  Currently, he heads the Data Systems Infrastructure Division, Ground Engineering Department at the European Space Agency (ESA).  He also serves as Chair of the European Technology Harmonization on Ground Software Systems. 

Mr. Peccia holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Buenos Aires University, Argentina.
