Ms. Loredana Bruca has been ASI’s principle Member Agency Representative to the CCSDS since 2001.

In addition to her roles within the CCSDS and as ASI's delegate to a number of other international space standardization committees (including the IOAG, SpaceOps, SFCG), Ms. Bruca currently works in ASI's Ground Segment and Operational Sites department, where she is involved in the management of activities for Ground Systems technologies and in-orbit operations. 

Ms. Bruca started her career in communication and information technology after a short period as a research scientist at the Università degli Studi di Catania and the Università degli Studi di Trieste.  In 1990, Ms. Bruca joined Telespazio S.p.A. where she began working on space-related projects as a project manager for Ground Control Systems development and operations.  

Ms. Bruca holds a degree in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Catania and a Masters in Astrophysics from the International School for Advanced Studies of Trieste.
