Spring Meetings 2012 Information Overview
Overview:
Hosted by ESA, the CCSDS Spring 2012 meeting series will be held in Darmstadt, Germany. The main technical meeting series will be held April 16 -
April 19, 2012 and will be followed by the CESG Meeting which will be held on April 20, 2012. The CCSDS Management meetings will be held the
following week from April 23 - April 25, 2012.
Meeting Location:
The meetings will take place at the Darmstadtium located in Darmstadt, Germany.

Lunch:
Lunch will be served in the Darmstadtium located on the 3rd floor daily, but please note that the costs have to be born by each registrant.
Transportation:
There are several taxi companies based in Darmstadt offering fixed price transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Darmstadt and vice versa (typical rate
around 35 Euros for up to 3 persons).
If you are arriving by car to Darmstadtium, then please note that the maximum fee for parking in the garage of the conference center is 15 Euros a
day.

Social Events:
Social Dinner - CCSDS 30th Anniversary: Registrants are invited to a social dinner at Orangerie Hall, which will be held on Wednesday, April 18,
at 19:00. When registering, please indicate if you will be attending with your partner. There is a limited amount of space,
so please register early.
Technical Editors Bootcamp:
The CCSDS Secretariat will be holding a training bootcamp in CCSDS document-development procedures,
which is required for all CCSDS technical editors and recommended for WG chairs. Other WG participants are welcome to attend
as
space permits. Please see the registration form for dates and times.

Should any meeting attendees still be in need of a letter of invitation or Visa letter for the meeting, please contact the Secretariat at
