'Vinny' Ivica Ristovski
'Vinny' Ivica Ristovski – Deputy Area Director, SIS
Ivica Ristovski is the Deputy Area Director of the Space Internetworking Services Area (SIS).
Ivica Ristovski received his Bachelor of Science from Cameron University (USA) in 2007. From 2007 to 2011 Ivica worked as a software developer on
several large university systems. During his work at West Corporation in 2011 to 2015 he worked on design and implementation of data centers
in support of S&P500 corporations. During this time Ivica obtained extensive telecommunication training in support of legacy and VOIP technology.
In 2015 Ivica started supporting NASA and was the lead engineer for the KU-600 (International Space Station) ISS upgrade initiative for Marshal
Space Flight Center (MSFC). During this time, he led the efforts in the design and implementation of the ground systems processing and distribution for ISS at 600Mbps. Ivica has been the lead engineer for payload interface design and implementation for NASA commercial vendors in support of Commercial resupply and commercial crew missions. Ivica is currently the lead for space to ground systems at MSFC, the Space Communication and Navigation (SCAN) Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) MSFC manager, and the NASA CCSDS MSFC Manager.
Ivica Ristovski currently works on development and support of DTN systems at MSFC in collaboration with other NASA centers.
Ivica has managed and lead multiple NASA projects and initiatives in ground systems distribution.
