Fall Meetings 2011 Information Overview
Overview:
Hosted by NASA, the CCSDS Fall 2011 meeting series will be held in Boulder, Colorado, USA. The main technical meeting series will be held October
31 - November 4, 2011 and will be followed by the CESG Meeting which will be held on November 5, 2011.

Staying the night of November 4 will be the most challenging because of the football game and some properties don’t have a government per diem
rate. We have rooms blocked at the Best Western (50 peak-night) and Millennium (10 per night), which will be released September 30 if not full. If
more rooms are needed the hotels will honor the rate if they can depend on occupancy. Outlook Hotel is a rate block and therefore first-come,
first-served so they will honor the rate until sold out of that category.
Parking:
Registrants who have rented cars, and are planning to drive to the meetings will require a parking pass. Please indicate during registration if
you need to park your rental car at the University. Normally a weekly parking pass costs $24, but our hosts at CU-Boulder will buy these for to
those that register on this form, so they will be free for attendees. If you change your mind before the meeting, email the Secretariat so they
can change your registration, so we will know how many parking passes to buy.
Social Events:
Halloween Party: Please see the attached PDF below for information on the Sunday pre-meeting special event (Halloween party on Sunday, October 30,
from 15:00 to 20:00). Try to arrive early on Sunday, so you can attend.
Social Dinner: Registrants are invited to a social dinner, which will be held on Wednesday, November 2, from 17:45 - 21:00. One guest per
registrant is allowed. There is a limited amount of space, so please register early.
Technical Editors Bootcamp:
The CCSDS Secretariat will be holding a training bootcamp in CCSDS document-development procedures,
which is required for all CCSDS technical editors and recommended for WG chairs. Other WG participants are welcome to attend
as
space permits. Please see the registration form for dates and times.
Letters of Invitation and Visa Requests:
Should any meeting attendees still be in need of a letter of invitation or Visa letter for the meeting, please contact the Secretariat at
secretariat@mailman.ccsds.org as soon as possible.
